Rebecca (Williams) Podojil serves as an assistant coach with Miami’s track and field team, working specifically with the hurdlers. An exceptional representative of the program's legacy, she is a 1997 Miami alumna who was a two-time All-American (1996, 1997), an Academic All-American, an indoor and outdoor conference champion in various hurdles events, the Miami and MAC record holder in the 400 hurdles, and was ranked seventh in the U.S. and 20th in the world in her event. She was also named the MAC Athlete of the Year and Miami Athlete of the Year in 1996.
