Head tennis coach, Ricardo Rosas, has announced that Austin Hensley will serve as his assistant coach for the upcoming year. Hensley brings a wealth of knowledge regarding Miami as both his mother and grandmother graduated from MU.

Hensley, a graduate of Xavier University, joins Miami after spending one season as the assistant tennis coach for the University of Pacific. Hensley’s responsibilities included managing the tennis budget, recruiting and working with student athletes to prepare them for competitions.

Hensley also served as the Director of Tennis for the Basin Harbor Resort since 2017, providing instruction for all levels of athletes.

He also served as an assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach from 2017-19 for UNC Asheville and as a Junior Program Director of Kenwood Country Club from 2015-17.
