PRIOR TO MIAMI
- Named a team captain all four years
- All-Conference and All-State honors in the 100 free and 100 breaststroke as a junior
- During his junior year he set a district record in 100 breaststroke and was also named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American
- All-Conference and All-State honors in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM during his senior year
- Set district records in 100 breaststroke and 200 IM as a senior
- Holds school records in the 100 fly, 100 free, 100 back, 100 breaststroke, 200 medley relay, 200 free, 200 IM, 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 500 free
