Nikola Andjelic joins the coaching staff as a student assistant coach for the 2019-20 season. Andjelic swam under Hollie Bonewit-Cron for one season to wrap up his collegiate career.

At the 2020 MAC Championships, the men finished second while the women finished fourth. The Miami men won three relays and three individual events during the championship meet as four athletes were named All-MAC First Team, seven athletes were named All-MAC Second Team and the RedHawks had the MAC Freshman Diver of the Year. On the women’s side, Camila Lins de Mello repeated as the 200 free MAC Champion as she was named All-MAC First Team and Hannah Fuchs was named All-MAC Second Team following the conclusion of the championship meet. In addition, three swimmers have qualified for the Olympic Trials this season.

2018-19: Competed in eight meets this season … at the MAC Championships, finished fifth in the 200 breast (2:01.35), sixth in the 100 breast (55.33) and 11^th in the 50 free (20.78) … finished second in the 200 medley relay twice – at the Zip Classic (1:32.18) and against Ball State (1:36.16) … finished second in the 100 breast twice – at the Miami Invitational (56.69) and against Ball State (1:00.77) … finished second in the 400 medley relay at the Miami Invitational (3:17.15) … finished second in the 200 breast against Ball State (2:13.72) … finished third in the 100 breast at the Zip Classic (57.23) … finished third in the 400 medley relay twice – against Cleveland State (3:25.01) and Xavier (3:24.53) … finished third in the 200 medley relay against Cincinnati (1:33.46) … finished fourth in the 100 breast against Cleveland State (58.41) … finished fourth in the 200 free relay at the Miami Invitational (1:23.55) … finished fourth in the 400 free relay against Xavier (3:13.74) … totaled 20 top-five finishes during the regular season.

Prior to Miami
Swam at Indiana University … was team captain during the 2017-18 season ... won the Men’s Swimming Captains Award in 2017-18 … was the silver medalist in the 50 breast at the 2017 Serbian Nationals … swims the 100 breast (54.49) and 200 breast (2:00.11).

High School
Attended Clarkstown … was named the 2015 Clarkstown High School Swimming MVP … was selected as an All-American in 2015 … was a member of the 2015 Serbian National Junior Team.

Son of Sasa and Sofija Andjelic ... is majoring in statistics.
