High School: Attended Moeller High School • helped lead his team to a 14-1 record and state championship • made seven catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns (two touchdowns tied a state championship game record) as the Crusaders beat Mentor 55-52 to win the Division I title • made 44 catches for 1,104 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior • had 10 catches in first seven games, but then recorded 34 catches in final eight games • during the last eight weeks of the season he had games of 160, 173, 182 and 229 yards and caught eight touchdowns • averaged 25.1 yards per catch as a senior • finished third on the team in scoring with 62 points • named first-team All-District and special mention All-State • ranked as the No. 22 player in Ohio and the No. 65 wide receiver in his class by Rivals • received three-star status from Rivals, 247Sports and Scout • listed as the No. 83 wide receiver by Scout and as the 92nd best player in Ohio by 247Sports • also a standout member of the Moeller track and field team.
