2016: Missed the first six games of the season recovering from an ACL injury … started final games at quarterback for Miami … completed 115-of-179 passes for 1,537 yards and 17 touchdowns while throwing just one interception on the season … had a stretch of 174 consecutive passes without throwing an interception to begin the season … added 202 yards and two scores on the ground … was named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 218 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Central Michigan … completed 26-of-35 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Ball State, once again earned the conference honor … threw for 263 yards and two scores versus Mississippi State in the St. Petersburg Bowl.
