Five Things to Know for Gameday
1. Tailgate! Join fellow RedHawk fans for tailgating in the West Millett parking lot- spaces are $20 each and are first come, first serve, so come early with your group to ensure the best spot! Fans will have access to a large screen television showing games from around the country, live music and MORE! Tailgating lots open five hours prior to kickoff and gates to Yager Stadium open one and a half hours prior to kickoff. The Voice of the RedHawks, Steve Baker will host our Tailgating Show from the RedZone, starting roughly three and a half hours prior to kick off.  New Tailgate Options!

2. Welcome the Miami RedHawks during the Hawk Walk! The Miami football team arrives roughly three hours prior to kickoff and fans are invited to line the hill from the Red Zone down to the Athletic Performance Center as the team exits off the buses and walks down to the stadium. The Miami University Marching Band, spirit teams and other groups are also on hand to welcome the team with the fight song.

3. Walk around Yager Stadium! Once inside the gates, there are lots of activities to take part in. The Miami University Bookstore has two areas to purchase official RedHawk gear- Brick & Ivy at Yager Stadium is located on the West Concourse and an Adidas tent is located in the southeast corner. Concession stands are located on both the east and west sides of the stadium, with various specialty tents and trailors located along the fence line. Our little RedHawk fans can partake in FanFest located in the northeast corner of the stadium with inflatables, yard games, coloring and much more!

4. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the game! Beyond the action the field that happens while the clock is running, there is a lot to take in throughout the game. From the Miami University Marching Band's pre-game and in-game show, to the team running out on the field, promotions like t-shirt toss and various activities that fans can engage in on the videoboard, there is a lot to take in so keep your eyes and ears open as Miami football puts on a show!

5. Sing the Fight Song after a VICTORY! After the clock hits zero and the RedHawks have secured a victory, we invite all fans to join the Miami football team and the Marching Band in singing the fight song! Make sure that you stay the entire game to watch the RedHawks win and take part in the amazing tradition.  Fans can also play on the field after the game for 20 minutes!
