Martin Nance Biography

 

Martin Nance is a 2005 graduate of the Miami University Farmer School of Business. As an accounting major, he completed his years in Oxford as the captain of the Miami RedHawks football team. In 2003 Nance helped to lead the RedHawks to a MAC Championship where the team finished with a 13-1 record. Nance finished his RedHawk career as one of the school’s all-time leading receivers. Several of his records remain, including marks for single season receiving yards (1,498) and single season touchdowns (14). Following Miami, Nance spent four years as a wide receiver in the NFL (Bills, Vikings and Steelers) where he earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the world championship 2008-2009 Pittsburgh Steelers.

After transitioning from the NFL, Nance went on to complete his MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Now as a Gatorade Marketing Manager, Nance currently oversees the strategic development and execution of many of Gatorade’s global advertising campaigns. As a rising sports and entertainment executive, he blends his passion for both business and sports/entertainment culture.

He and his wife Minya, a Miami merger, reside in Evanston, Illinois with their daughter Alina.
