Bob Simpson earned a Bachelor of Science in applied science from Miami University in 1982 and his Master’s degree in business administration from Western International in 1992.

He is currently VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain with Senco Brands, a global leader of design and manufacturing of pneumatic and cordless power tools and related fasteners. In his career, he has managed businesses in 18 countries with Senco Brands, Textron and Milacron.

He is currently serving on Miami University’s Executive Committee of the College of Engineering and Computing Advisory Council in addition to being a member of the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Advisory Council the past 12 years.

Simpson and his wife, Andrea (Miami ’82), have three sons and live in Liberty Township, Ohio. Bob (football) and Andrea (field hockey) are both former athletes at Miami University.
