Miami University Earns 2025-26 Cartwright Award
The Mid-American Conference announced last Thursday that Miami University is the recipient of the Dr. Carol A. Cartwright Award, recognizing the institution for excellence in academics, athletics and citizenship during the 2025-26 academic year. This marks an unprecedented fourth time Miami has earned the prestigious honor.

Miami / Best Western Invitational (Oxford, Ohio)
Miami returns home to host the Best Western Invitational with matches at 10:30 a.m. against Evansville and 7:30 p.m. against Kansas City on Friday. MU closes out the tournament against Purdue Fort Wayne at 3 p.m. Saturday. The RedHawks went 2-1 at the Bearkat Invitational last weekend, with wins against McNeese and Cal State Fullerton. Miami's 25-3 set three win against Cal State Fullerton was the fewest points allowed in a set in Miami history since rally scoring was introduced in 2001. No. 10 Miami Field Hockey picked up a 2-1 win against Indiana Saturday after being edged 2-1 in a shootout loss at No. 18 Louisville. The RedHawks host Michigan State at 1 p.m. on Friday in their home opener.
Miami Soccer split a pair of games last week, picking up a 2-0 win against Youngstown State on Sunday. Dominique Popa broke the program's career shutout record in the win. The RedHawks travel to Eastern Kentucky Thursday and host LSU at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Miami Cross Country opens the season hosting the RedHawk Rumble on Friday with the men's race starting at 9 a.m. and the women's beginning at 9:40 a.m..
Miami Golf finished in second place among the 12-team field at the Virtues Intercollegiate and had four individuals finish among the top 15. Miami competes in the Island Resort Intercollegiate in Harris, Mich., Sept. 6-7.
Miami Synchronized Skating announced its 2026-27 domestic schedule.

Starting with the 2026-2027 Athletic Season, Miami University Athletics has adopted a clear bag policy to enhance spectator safety and expedite entry into Miami Athletics Facilities.

The Cradle of Coaches Story Is Now Available on Peacock
The wait is over. The Cradle of Coaches, Miami's documentary celebrating the coaching legacy that has shaped generations of football, is streaming exclusively on Peacock, NBCUniversal's premier streaming service. Miami University Earns 2025-26 Cartwright Award
The Mid-American Conference announced last Thursday that Miami University is the recipient of the Dr. Carol A. Cartwright Award, recognizing the institution for excellence in academics, athletics and citizenship during the 2025-26 academic year. This marks an unprecedented fourth time Miami has earned the prestigious honor.
- The RedHawks swept the MAC's Reese and Jacoby trophies for all-sport excellence in men's sports and women's sports, respectively. Miami completed one of the most successful athletic years in school and MAC history, recording a school-record 209 combined victories and seven MAC team championships.
- Miami student-athletes contributed approximately 5,400 hours of community service during the 2025-26 academic year and helped raise more than $40,000 for charitable causes.
- The RedHawks extended their department-wide streak to 43 consecutive semesters with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and led the MAC with a 95 percent Graduation Success Rate. Twelve of Miami's 19 sports recorded a 3.4 GPA or higher, including eight programs with a 3.5 GPA or better.

- Clear tote bags that do not exceed 12" W X 6" D X 12" H
- Clutch bags, with or without shoulder straps, no larger than 4.5" X 6.5"
- Diaper bags
- Bags required for medical reasons
- A logo may be displayed on one side of the bag
- Only one clear bag is permitted per ticket
- Common items such as keys, wallets, phones, and feminine products may be carried in pockets
- All bags are subject to search
