Kickoff With the Community Set for Aug. 22

OXFORD, Ohio -- Head to Yager Stadium on Saturday, August 22 to get an early look at your 2026 Miami Football team in the annual Kickoff With the Community event.

With a few weeks of preseason practices under their belt, get an up-close look at the 2026 RedHawks. Gates open at 10 a.m., with practice beginning at approximately 11:10 a.m. This event is free and open to the public!

There will be yard games/activities for our younger fans under the east stands beginning at 10 a.m. Youth 12-and-under who check in at the table by the northeast Yager Stadium entrance before 10:25 a.m. will be able to run out on the field with the team at 10:30 a.m. and will receive a voucher for a free ticket to the October 3 Miami Football home game against Bowling Green.

The Miami Athletic Ticket Office will have representatives available for parking/ticket transactions and food trucks will also be available for fans to purchase hotdogs ($1), beverages ($3), popcorn ($1) and candy ($1). There will be popsicles with the players following practice and a casual autograph session to meet the team.Â

Please note that the Yager Stadium west stands will be closed and fans should sit in the east stands. Fans are encouraged to park in the Yager Grass or Hannon Park lots for best access to the east stands.
