RedHawks Picked Second in Preseason Coaches Poll

DETROIT, Mich. – On Wednesday morning the Mid-American Conference office announced that the Miami University football team was picked second in the 2026 Preseason MAC Coaches Poll. Four coaches picked Miami to win the MAC Championship Game as well.

Miami received 134 points and trailed only Western Michigan (139 points). Rounding out the rest of the poll were Toledo (115), Ohio (107), Central Michigan (101), Buffalo (81), Eastern Michigan (76), Kent State (64), Bowling Green (59), Akron (52), Ball State (34), Sacramento (29) and UMass (25).

The RedHawks are coming off a 7-7 season which included their third-straight appearance in the MAC Championship Game
