RedHawks Finish MACs Strong with Multiple Champion Titles

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Miami RedHawks finished the 2026 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with impressive performances all around. The women finished sixth with 74 points and the men came in fourth with 129 points as a team. Kate Hallie, Nate Hollingsworth and Dominic Jackson each earned a MAC champion title.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Hallie won women's discus for the MAC title with a throw of 51.58m.
Ella Garvin took third place in high jump with a mark of 1.74m.
Hollingsworth was the high jump MAC champion with a mark of 2.05m. Mac Burley took fourth with a mark of 2.00m.
The men's 4x100 team of Broderick Brittle, Matthew Shuler, Rondale Carridine and Joey Valeski placed sixth for three points with a time of 43.49.
Tom Heal (3:48.72), Anton Martinez (3:49.67) and Luke Mussard (3:50.25) were second, third and fourth in the 1500m run, scoring a total of 19 points for the RedHawks.
Nora Zubillaga took fourth in the 1500 with a run of 4:25.77.
In the 110m hurdles, Broderick Brittle took eighth with a time of 14.74.
Jackson was the MAC champion in the 800m with a time of 1:48.98, and Adrian Stechschulte was seventh with a time of 1:51.66.
Avery Emerson was the 800m runner-up with a time of 2:08.49.
Evan Jarold was seventh in the 5K with a time of 14:41.73 for two points.
In the 5K, Ava Nuttall took eighth place with a time of 16:43.94.
The men's 4x400 team of Micah Schuster, Jackson, Stechschulte and Valeski took sixth with a time of 3:22.96.
The women took seventh place in the 4x400 with a team of Olivia Cebalo, Keena Sanders, Emerson and Rachel Smith. The team had a collective time of 3:46.75.
