CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Maria Komar and Nina Chavez, two members of the Miami University tennis team, have been named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week following their most recent efforts. The duo teamed up for a perfect 2-0 record, helping the RedHawks to wins over Cleveland State and Oakland.
Komar and Chavez began the week with a 6-1 win and No. 1 singles versus CSU and followed that up with a 6-4 win at No. 2 singles the following day against Oakland.
