Rice Named MAC Diver of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced its Women's Swimming and Diving weekly awards today, and Miami's Sydney Rice was named MAC Diver of the Week.
Rice led the RedHawks at the Miami University Diving Invitational this weekend, turning in a pair of first-place finishes. Rice earned first place in the 1M dive with a score of 271.25 and finished first in the 3M dive, where she posted a score of 293.75.
Rice and the rest of the Miami University women's swimming and diving team head to Akron, Ohio for the MAC Championships from Feb. 25 to 28.
