For their performances last week, Kayla Perfect and Ishak Mekideche are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of November 2.
Female Winner: Kayla Perfect
Kayla Perfect scored in both of Miami's matches this week, extending her point streak to five games. She scored two goals on three shots (two on goal) while playing all but seven minutes, helping the RedHawks clinch a spot in the MAC Tournament.  A senior from Medina, Ohio, she is studying Psychology and Premedical/Pre-Health Studies in the College of Arts and Science.
Male Winner: Ishak Mekideche
Ishak Mekideche was the top finisher for the Men's cross country team this weekend at the MAC championships. He completed the 8K in 24:04.6, earning ninth place and Second Team All-MAC honors, helping the RedHawk men earn second place out of ten.  A junior from Ouled Fayet, Algeria, he is studying Sport Management in the College of Education, Health and Society.
