Oliveira Named MAC Singles Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Malu Oliveira, a member of the Miami University tennis team, has been named Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week.
Oliveira went 2-0 at No. 1 singles this week, picking up wins versus Florida Gulf Coast University and St. John's University. On Saturday, she won 6-4, 7-6 against FGCU and added a 6-3, 6-2 dominant win against St. John's the following day.
Tennis returns to action, Saturday, Jan. 24 at Illinois. Match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
