
Intzes, Reynolds Named Miami Athletes of the Week

For their performances last week, Justina Intzes and Keith Reynolds are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of Sept. 22.

Female Winner: Justina Intzes
Justina Intzes scored four goals this week, propelling the RedHawks to wins over Bellarmine and Michigan State at home. Her goals included two first half goals against Bellarmine, who Miami shut by a program-high 11 goals, and two of Miami's three goals against Michigan State, who Miami downed 3-1 on Sunday. Intzes kept the pressure on all weekend, firing off 11 total shots, seven of which were on goal. A freshman from Mendoza, Argentina, she is studying Engineering Management in the College of Engineering and Computing.

Male Winner: Keith Reynolds
Keith Reynolds set a Mid-American Conference record with a 100-yard kick return touchdown versus UNLV. It was just the second 100-yard kick return touchdown in Miami history (last one occurred in 1980) and Miami's first since Sept. 29, 2018. In all, Reynolds had 130 return yards on three attempts. A Redshirt Sophomore from Adelanto, Calif., he is studying Sport Management in the College of Education, Health & Society.
