Hamlett Earns WPSL Honor

OKLAHOMA CITY--Â The WPSL (Women's Premier Soccer League) announced its South Region Players of the Year last week, and former Miami University standout Taylor Hamlett was among the honorees.
The West Florida Flames forward was named Offensive Player of the Year in the WPSL's Sunshine Conference and was also chosen for the conference's Best XI. Hamlett, who previously produced a total of 18 goals and six assists in three years with the RedHawks, was an All-Midwest Region pick, a CSC Academic All-District honoree and a First-Team All-MAC selection during her senior season in Oxford.
In its 28th season, the Women's Premier Soccer League is the largest and longest-running women's soccer league in the world, featuring 151 teams across 34 states. WPSL rosters feature elite collegiate athletes, top high school prospects, and post-collegiate veterans. Alumnae include NCAA All-Americans, Hermann Trophy winners, Olympic gold medalists, World Cup champions and Ballon d'Or recipients.
