Baker Repeats as MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND-- Miami's Dillon Baker was named the Mid-American Conference's male Scholar Athlete of the Week today for the second time in a row. Baker hit .417 last week through three games for Miami Baseball, collecting five hits on 12 at-bats. He hit three doubles and added a home run. Baker drove in four runs, including three at Xavier in a 10-8 Miami victory last Wednesday. A redshirt senior from Tampa, Fla., Baker is a Sport Management major in the College of Education, Health and Society.

Miami Baseball will host Akron in the RedHawks' final home series of the season beginning Friday, May 9 at McKie Field. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
