
Boule, Baker Named Miami Athletes of Week

For their performances last week, Mia Boule and Dillon Baker are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of April 28.

Female Winner: Mia Boule
Mia Boule took home first place in the women's pole vault event (B flight) last weekend at the Clark Wood Invitational in Louisville, Ky. with a season-best distance of 3.96 meters. With this distance, Boule ranks second in the MAC and 137th in the country for the event. Boule is a sophomore Kinesiology major in the College of Education, Health and Society from Yorkville, Ill.

Male Winner: Dillon Baker
Dillon Baker went 12-for-19 at the plate last week (.632), which included a perfect 5-for-5 performance on Saturday in Miami Baseball's 18-2 win over Ohio. Baker racked up two homers, five doubles, six RBIs, and nine runs throughout the week, striking out just twice over four games. He recorded hits in seven consecutive at-bats during Saturday's doubleheader at OU. Baker's offensive dominance led Miami to defeat Bellarmine on Tuesday and take two of three from the Bobcats, marking Miami's eighth straight MAC series victory. Baker, a redshirt senior from Tampa, Fla., is studying Sport Management in the College of Education, Health and Society.
