Scally Wins MAC Weekly Award

CLEVELAND-- The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly outdoor track and field honors today, and Miami's Ella Scally was named the conference's Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. Scally, a junior Kinesiology major from Fishers, Ind., won the long jump at the We Fly Challenge in Muncie, Ind. last week, posting a mark of 6.09 meters. Scally ranks first in the conference and moved up to 31st in the nation for the long jump.

Miami is back in action this week (April 17-18) at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.
