Valentinsson and Zalukar Named MAC Doubles Team of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Monday afternoon the Mid-American Conference announced Emilia Valentinsson and Sara Zalukar as the Mid-American Doubles Team of the Week.
Valentinsson and Zalukar had an impressive weekend at the No. 1 doubles spot going 2-0. The pair picked up a 6-1 win on Friday over Bowling Green State University and a 6-4 win on Sunday against Eastern Michigan University. Their success helped the RedHawks secure the doubles point in both matches and, ultimately, the win, making the team 5-0 in MAC play.
Miami University tennis returns to action on Friday, April 4 at 12 p.m. in Buffalo, N.Y. to take on the University at Buffalo.
