
Tretter Honored as MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND-- The Mid-American Conference announced its Scholar-Athletes of the Week today, and Miami junior Amber Tretter was chosen as the female winner.
Tretter averaged 11.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a pair of contests at the Paradise Jam for Miami Women's Basketball last weekend. The Ferdinand, Ind. native had 13 points, 15 rebounds and four assists versus Washington State and followed that up with her second straight double-double, securing 10 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Marist. Overall, Tretter shot 64.3% from the field over the weekend and connected on 3-of-5 from behind the arc.
Tretter is an Architecture major in the College of Creative Arts.
