Meinhardt Named MAC Diver of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced its Women's Swimming and Diving weekly awards today, and Miami's Mia Meinhardt was named MAC Diver of the Week.
Meinhardt had a strong performance this week, earning a first-place finish, two second-place finishes, and a third-place finish against the University of Cincinnati and Bowling Green State University. Meinhardt opened the weekend on a high note, capturing first place in the 1M dive (267.98) against Cincinnati, followed with a solid performance in the 3M dive (275.55), earning third place. Competing against Bowling Green, Meinhardt secured a second-place finish in the 1M dive (264.83) and closed out the meet with another second-place finish in the 3-meter (264.45).
Meinhardt, a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Miami University Swim and Dive team will return to the pool to compete against Northern Kentucky on Friday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. in the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
