Miami Tennis Picked to be 2025 MAC Champs in Preseason Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference Women's Tennis head coaches selected Miami first overall in the 2025 preseason poll, as the RedHawks received 48 team points and six first-place votes.
Toledo came in second in the poll, receiving 38 points and one first-place vote. Eastern Michigan is predicted to be third with 35 points, followed by Northern Illinois with 30, Ball State with 25, and Buffalo receiving 23 (along with the final first-place vote). Western Michigan collected 14 points and BGSU rounded out the conference with seven points.
The RedHawks are also projected to take the 2025 MAC Tournament crown with five votes, while Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo all received one vote.
The MAC women's tennis season begins this weekend. The season will culminate with the MAC Women's Tennis Championship, hosted by the University of Toledo on April 24-25 in Toledo, Ohio.
