Maier Named to German Olympic Team

OXFORD, Ohio — Former Miami student-athlete Nicole Maier '24 is heading to Paris for the 2024 Olympics. Maier is set to compete in the 4x200m freestyle relay for Germany.
Maier is a two-time Honorable Mention All-American (400 IM) and a two-time CSCAA Second-Team All-American. She is also a four-time All-MAC First Team honoree, earned CSCAA Scholar All-American on four occasions and has been named an Academic All-MAC honoree each year she was with the RedHawks. Maier is a two-time Academic All-District selection as well. She earned MAC Freshman Swimmer of the Year in 2021, MAC Co-Women's Outstanding Swimmer of Year in 2023 and Outstanding Senior of the Year in 2024.
