RedHawks Picked to Repeat in 2024 Coaches Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Friday morning, the Mid-American Conference office announced that the Miami University football team was picked to finish atop the 2024 regular season standings according to the league's 12 head coaches.Ten of the 12 coaches picked Miami to capture the conference championship in Detroit as well.
Miami received 119 points in the preseason poll and was followed by Toledo with 109 points. Bowling Green and Northern Illinois were tied for third with 92 points and were followed by Ohio (81 points), Eastern Michigan (64 points), Western Michigan (60 points), Central Michigan (59 points), Ball State (42 points), Buffalo (37 points), Akron (24 points) and Kent State (13 points).
The RedHawks return 13 starters from last season's squad that went 11-3 overall, including a conference championship and a trip to the Cure Bowl.
