Duvenhage Excels at South African National Aquatic Championships

GQEBERHA, South Africa-- Miami University swimmer Henju Duvenhage traveled to compete in the 2024 SA National Aquatics Championships April 8-13 in Gqeberha, South Africa at the Newton Park Swimming Pool. Duvenhage produced five top-four finishes over the course of the Olympic trials.

- Duvenhage participated in the 50 free, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 fly and 200 IM in the prelims.Â
- The RedHawk senior earned a second-place finish in the 50 back finals, posting a time of 25.25. He was also the runner-up in the 200 IM finals, turning in a time of 2:01.87.
- Duvenhage added a podium finish in the 100 back finals, taking third with a time of 55.25.
- In the 100 fly finals, Duvenhage came in fourth, posting a mark of 53.66. He also secured another fourth-place finish in the 200 fly (2:03.91).
