Carbondale, Ill. – The Miami University men's swim and dive team concluded the MAC championships with a title win for the fourth year in a row. The RedHawks finished first overall with 724 points.
Head coach
Hollie Bonewit-Cron was named MAC Men's Swimming Coach of the Year for the fourth year in a row as well.
All-MAC First Team honors were given to
Owen Blazer,
Allen Cotton and Henju Duvenhage. All-MAC Second Team was awarded to
Uroš Djokovic,
Ian Kmiliauskis,
Bryce Menchhofer,
Mason Miller,
Gabriel Perseguin and
Yonatan Rosin. Duvenhage was also named the Most Outstanding Senior.
How It Happened:
- The day kicked off with the 1650 freestyle in which Tommy Frye landed sixth place overall at 15:45.15.
- Following that, in the 200 backstroke, Blazer finished second overall (1:46.24), alongside Miller in ninth (1:47.90) and Aidan Jacobs in 11th (1:48.67).
- In the 100 freestyle, Kmiliauskis finished sixth overall (44.30) and Jack Herczeg finished eighth (44.52).
- Adrian Dulay finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke (1:59.07) alongside Ian Wihebrink in fifth (1:59.15) and Ben Eichberg in seventh (1:59.95).
- Miami had another couple of strong finishes in the 200 butterfly with Cotton in second (1:45.43) qualifying for an NCAA B cut, alongside Perseguin in third (1:46.81) and Jacobs in seventh (1:49.21).
- The evening concluded with the 400 freestyle relay, in which Miami's A team placed third overall. Duvenhage, Kmiliauskis, Djokovic and Herczeg finished with an overall time of 2:57.26.

The CSCAA National Invitational Championships (Co-Ed) will take place in Ocala, Fla. beginning on March 14 through March 16.
