Valentinsson Named MAC Singles Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Emilia Valentinsson, a member of the Miami University tennis team, has been named Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
The junior went 2-0 on the weekend versus Marshall and Virginia Tech. She opened with a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 4 singles versus the Thundering Herd and added a second victory at No. 3 singles against the Hokies, 6-1, 6-2.
She is now 6-1 on the season in singles competition.
