OXFORD, Ohio— The Miami University football team will face Colorado State University in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop on Saturday, Dec. 28 in Tucson, Ariz. The game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET at Arizona Stadium and be broadcast on The CW Network.

Miami, the Mid-American Conference runner-up, will make its 16th all-time bowl appearance and play in a bowl game for the fifth consecutive full season (2020 Lending Tree Bowl, 2021 Frisco Football Classic, 2022 Bahamas Bowl, 2023 Cure Bowl). The RedHawks are 8-7 in bowl games and have been bowl-eligible in eight of the last nine years.

The Red and White won their final seven games of the regular season to advance to the MAC Championship Game in Detroit and will take an 8-5 overall record into bowl season. Miami was 7-1 in conference play, matching Ohio for the top record in the MAC.

Miami's offense is led by veteran sixth-year quarterback Brett Gabbert (2,737 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 57.6% completion percentage this season), who has made 51 career starts under center. During the MAC title game, Gabbert passed RedHawk legend Ben Roethlisberger for second place on Miami's all-time list in total offense. Keyon Mozee (1,073 rushing yards on 6.3 yards per carry) is the 23rd player in program history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

The RedHawk defense allowed just 15 points per game in MAC play and led the league in scoring defense during the regular season. Matt Salopek tops the Red and White with 113 tackles, becoming the first player in program history with four 100-tackle seasons. Brian Ugwu made a career-high 14 tackles for loss this year, including 7.5 sacks.

Placekicker Dom Dzioban is 23-for-27 on field goals this year, including a career-long 51-yard kick. Dzioban, who hit the game-winner in Miami's first victory of the season (an overtime triumph over UMass), was named a Lou Groza Award semifinalist.

12 RedHawks received All-MAC recognition, including first-team picks Dzioban, Gabbert, Salopek, Ugwu, defensive back Raion Strader, offensive tackle Reid Holskey and wideout Javon Tracy. Miami advanced to the MAC Championship Game for the third time since 2019 and is bowl-eligible for the seventh consecutive season.

Colorado State comes in with a record of 8-4 (6-1 in Mountain West play) after scoring 29 fourth-quarter points to rally for a win in their regular-season finale. The Rams won six of their last seven games and posted the program's highest win total since 2014. Nine CSU players were named All-Conference this season, including three offensive linemen (led by First-Team selection Jacob Gardner). Quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi has thrown for 2,475 yards and 13 touchdowns, completing better than 61% of his passes. Avery Morrow has nine rushing touchdowns and 956 yards on the ground (5.8 yards per carry). The Rams will be making their first bowl appearance since the 2017 New Mexico Bowl.
