Twelve RedHawks Earn All-MAC Accolades

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Twelve members of the Miami University football team were named All-MAC on Thursday morning. Brett Gabbert, Reid Holskey, Javon Tracy, Dom Dzioban, Brian Ugwu, Matt Salopek and Raion Strader earned first-team All-MAC. Reggie Virgil, Keyon Mozee, Corey Suttle and Ty Wise all found their way on second-team and Eli Blakey earned third-team honors.

Brett Gabbert

Third time in his career he has earned All-MAC honors (third-team All-MAC in 2021 and 2023)
Ranked fourth in the MAC with 2,610 yards passing and second with 21 touchdown passes this season
In conference play he had 18 touchdown passes and just four interceptions
Has started 50 games in his career and ranks third in program history with 10,503 passing yards and is second with 80 touchdown passes.

Reid Holskey

Second time he has earned All-MAC in his career (second-team All-MAC in 2023)
Has started each of the last 52 games since the start of the 2021 season
This year, he is part of an offensive line unit that has helped Miami rush for 159.1 yards per game in conference play

Javon Tracy

First time he has earned All-MAC honors
Ranks seventh in the MAC in catches and sixth in yards
Six of his seven touchdown catches came in conference play
He has two 100-yard games (vs. Toledo and Central Michigan)
Threw a touchdown pass in the win over Northern Illinois

Dom Dzioban

Second time earning All-MAC honors. Was named second-team All-MAC punter in 2022
Connected on 22-of-26 field goals and made 29-of-30 extra points this season
Led the conference in scoring
Made a game-winning field goal in overtime versus UMass
Set a Yager Stadium record with five field goals against Central Michigan

Brian Ugwu

Second time earning All-MAC (second-team All-MAC in 2023)
Is fourth in the conference in sacks
Ranks eighth in the MAC in tackles for loss
Had at least one sack in five of eight conference games
Ranks fifth all-time in program history with 20.5 sacks

Matt Salopek

Fourth time in his career he has earned All-MAC (first-team All-MAC in 2023, third-team All-MAC in 2022, second-team All-MAC in 2021)
Finished season with 106 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and three interceptions
Became the first player in program history to have over 100 tackles four-straight years
Had at least six tackles in every game this year and recorded double-digit tackles four different times
Has played in 57 career games, recording 498 tackles, 33.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and four interceptions

Raion Strader

First time earning All-MAC honors in his career
Leads the MAC in passes defended
Had interceptions versus Ohio and Ball State, both Miami wins
Recorded 50 tackles, two interceptions and 16 pass breakups this year

Reggie Virgil

First time earning All-MAC honors in his career
Ranks fourth in the MAC in receiving yards and first in touchdown catches
Has scored a touchdown in seven straight contests entering Saturday's MAC Championship Game
Recorded three 100-yard games and averaged 20.2 yards per catch in 2024

Keyon Mozee

First time earning All-MAC honors in his career
Ranks second in the MAC in rushing and third in yards per carry
Has seven 100-yard games this season and became the 23^rd player in program history to surpass 1,000 yards rushing in a single season
Has rushed for 2,223 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career

Corey Suttle

First time earning All-MAC honors in his career
Recorded 29 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in 2024
Had a career-best six tackles and a crucial forced fumble in the win over Northern Illinois
Enters Saturday's MAC Championship Game with sacks in four-straight games

Ty Wise

Earned All-MAC for the second time in his career (second-team All-MAC in 2023)
Recorded 63 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and four sacks in 2024
Had 11 tackles in the win over Northern Illinois
In his career, he has recorded 209 tackles, 22.0 tackles for loss, 14 sacks and three forced fumbles

Eli Blakey

First time earning All-MAC honors in his career
Ranks 13^th in the MAC in tackles
Finished second on the team with 85 tackles
Recorded a career-high 18 tackles in the win at Eastern Michigan
