Padavic, Mozee Named Miami Athletes of Week

For their performances last week, Madeline Padavic and Keyon Mozee are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of November 18.

Female Winner: Madeline Padavic
Madeline Padavic posted four first-place finishes (two individual and two relay) to help the Miami women's swimming and diving team to a 218-82 win over Oakland Saturday. Â Padavic started the meet leading off the 400 medley relay, putting up the fastest time of the event at 54.57 and taking home first place. Next, she competed in the 100-yard backstroke, where she earned first place with a time of 55.03. Padavic competed in the 100-yard freestyle and won that race in a time of 51.83. She finished her day with the 200 freestyle relay, recording a time of 23.67 for her split and earning her fourth and final first-place finish of the afternoon. Padavic, a senior from Downers Grove, Ill., is studying Finance/Business Analytics in the Farmer School of Business.
Male Winner: Keyon Mozee
Keyon Mozee had a career-high 196 yards rushing and added a touchdown in Miami Football's 34-7 win over Kent State last Wednesday. Mozee has now rushed for over 100 yards in five straight games and six of his last seven contests. Miami improved to 6-0 this season when Mozee rushes for 100 yards. Mozee, a senior from Lee's Summit, Mo., is studying Sport Leadership and Management in the College of Education, Health and Society.
