Miami Wins MAC Fall Individual Singles and Doubles Championship

HAMILTON, Ohio – The Miami University tennis team took home the MAC Fall Individual Championship in both singles and doubles. Emilia Valentinsson and Sara Zalukar started the morning off strong with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Eastern Michigan University to take the doubles championship win. Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek then defeated Ball State's Annika Planinsek 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 securing the singles championship title. All three RedHawks earned an automatic entry into the main draw of the 2024 ITA Conference Masters Tournament, which will take place Nov. 7-10 in Rome, Ga.
