Spring Showcase Highlights Big Weekend for Miami Athletics

The Miami University football team will hold its annual Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the Dauch Indoor Sports Center. The RedHawks will divide into two teams for a 'spring game' with traditional scoring. Admission and parking for the event are free and fans are asked to park in the West Millett lot. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and concessions will be available for purchase from the food truck located on the back side of the DISC (by the loading dock door) until approximately noon. A kid's play area, with a variety of activities, will also open at 10:30 a.m. inside the DISC.
The Spring Showcase will include a 'One Stop Shop' where fans can purchase 2023 season tickets, reserve a season parking pass, donate to the Miami Athletic Fund and get updated rosters.
This year's Showcase event is part of a full schedule of Miami Athletics events in and around Oxford this weekend.
Friday, April 21 is the Night for Red and White event at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Earlier in the day, Miami Tennis is in action with a home match vs. Northern Illinois at 1 p.m. in Hamilton, Ohio.
On Saturday, Miami Volleyball plays a spring exhibition in the Millett Hall sub-gym at 11:30 a.m., while Miami Baseball hosts Kent State for a noon doubleheader and Miami Softball welcomes Akron for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
The weekend concludes Sunday, April 23 with series finales for both baseball and softball at 1 p.m. in Oxford. Sunday's action also includes Miami Field Hockey's annual Frenzy at 10 a.m., a soccer spring exhibition match at 1 p.m., and a home Senior Day tennis match against Ball State at 1 p.m. in Hamilton.
