
Trio of RedHawks Earn All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio— The Mid-American Conference has announced the 2023 Women's Indoor Track and Field postseason honorees after last weekend's championship meet in Bowling Green, Ohio. Miami's Carmen Riano has been awarded All-MAC First Team for her outstanding performance in the 3000-meter and 5000-meter run. Annie Christie (3000-meter run) and Elle Miller (high jump) earned All-MAC Second Team honors.
Riano placed first in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:29.50. She took second in the 5000-meter run with a time of 16:13.22.
Christie took second place in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:32.11. Miller finished second in the high jump of 1.70. As a team, the RedHawks came in fifth of 12 programs with 66 points, earning their highest finish since 2012.
