East Lansing, Mich. – The Miami University tennis team went toe-to-toe with Michigan State, coming up just short is a 4-3 loss on Sunday afternoon.
Miami captured the doubles point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take an early 1-0 lead. After Nishitha Saravanan and Sara Zalukar picked up wins at No. 3 and No. 6 singles, Miami's Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek went the distance at No. 2 singles, falling just short in a third-set tiebreaker.
