Miami Football to Host Kickoff with the Community Aug. 20

OXFORD, Ohio--Fans have an early opportunity to gear up for the 2022 season as Miami Football hosts Kickoff with the Community on Saturday, August 20 at Yager Stadium, home of the nation's fourth-longest active home win streak! The day's events include one of the final RedHawk practices of preseason camp, a chance to meet the team and much more.
Gates will open at 10 a.m. with practice beginning at approximately 11 a.m. Fans will be able to meet the team and get autographs from some of your favorite RedHawks at 1 p.m. Swoop's Fan Fest will be open as well for our younger fans during the event. Kickoff with the Community is free and open to the public!
Fresh off a bowl win at the 2021 Frisco Football Classic, Miami was predicted to win the Mid-American Conference East Division in the annual media poll with 20 of 24 first-place votes, and garnered five votes to win the program's 17th MAC Championship.
In addition to all of the day's festivities, the fan-favorite Miami Athletics equipment sale makes its return. Game-used jerseys, helmets, shoes, and more will be available for purchase beginning at 11 a.m. Season ticket holders and Code Red members will receive information about a priority time for special access to the sale.
