
RedHawks Compete at Day Two of Tennessee Relays

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Miami University outdoor track and field squad put up a strong showing at the Tennessee Relays on Friday, showcasing great results to continue the 2021 outdoor season on a strong note.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Charlie Harders, running in the 3000m steeplechase, placed first in the event with a time of 9:05.92. Dan Conway also had a strong showing in the same event, finishing in 5th with a time of 9:12.00.
- Anthony Camerieri placed 2nd in the 1500m with a time of 3:45.41. He competed in the power hour section of this race against some of the best athletes in the event.
- In the field, Ryan Smith performed well in the shot put, finishing in 3rd with a 16.98-meter throw. Alexandra Filiatraut finished well in the Javelin, with a 6th-place finish and a 37.19-meter throw. Â Â Â Â Â
- To close the day for the RedHawks, Alex Tam was the top Miami finisher in the 5000-meter event, placing 3rd with a time of 14:35.54. Jenna Sayle had a great performance in the 3000m steeplechase as well finishing in 4th with a time of 11:08.90.
