
MAC Champions! RedHawks Top Buffalo 6-1

BUFFALO, N.Y.—Sweeping all six singles matches in its final regular-season contest, the Miami University women's tennis team collected a 6-1 win at the University at Buffalo on Sunday afternoon to win a share of the Mid-American Conference regular-season title. The win pushes the RedHawks to 14-10 on the season and 8-2 in the MAC, while Buffalo drops to 17-7 overall and 6-4 in MAC action.
The RedHawks are the MAC Co-Champions with Ball State, who also finished with an 8-2 regular-season record. This is the 24th MAC regular-season title for the RedHawks. Miami also captured the MAC East Division, while Ball State claimed the West Division.

Miami will be the No. 2 seed in the four-team tournament and will battle No. 3 seed Toledo at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. The winner will face the No. 1 seed Ball State vs. No. 4 seed Buffalo winner in the championship match at 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.
