Miller Competes at NCAA Zone Championships for Miami

Jackson Miller made an appearance for the Miami University diving team at the NCAA Zone C Men's Diving Championships from Monday, March 7, to Wednesday, March 9, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The freshman competed in two preliminary events across the three days.

The competition began on Monday with the three meter championship preliminaries. Miller landed in 27th place after six dives, finishing with a score of 295.20. Miller did not compete the following day in the one meter championship, instead coming back on the final day for the platform preliminaries. There, Miller placed 22nd after six dives with a score of 276.85.

Miller's showing at the NCAA Zone Championships was preceded by an outstanding performance at the MAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, where the RedHawks took first for the second time in a row. Placing first in both diving events, Miller was awarded with both Most Outstanding Diver and Freshman Diver of the Year.

The Miami swimming and diving team close out their season with the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia. Swimmers from the women's team will compete from Wednesday, March 16, to Saturday, March 19, while the men's representatives will enter from Wednesday, March 23, to Saturday, March 26.
