RedHawks Continue Postseason at Great Lakes Regional

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. --The men and women of Miami University's cross country team competed in the NCAA D1 Great Lakes Regional on Friday morning. The men's team ran the 10k race, while the women's team ran the 6k. The men finished in seventh place with 220 points and the women finished in 11th with a total of 339 points.
How It Happened:
Miami will now wait until Saturday's selection show before finding out its fate for the NCAA Championships. The selection show begins at 5 p.m.

How It Happened:
- For the men, Obsaa Feda finished 21st with a time of 30:28.2. Charlie Harders finished in 33rd with a time of 30:47.3 and was followed by Mhalicki Bronson (48th) with a time of 31:06.0, Patrick Wills (57th) with a time of 31:24.3 and Max Polak finished with a time of 31:27.9.
- The women were led by Carmen Riano who finished in 15th place overall with a time of 20:19.3. Ava Nuttall was 28th with a time of 20:45.2 The next RedHawk to finish was Julia Rushing who finished in 56th place with a time of 21:19.9. Jenna Sayle finished in 98th place with a time of 22:11.6 and Gianna Labbiento finished in 144th place with a time of 22:51.1.
- Feda and Riano earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors by finishing in the top 25 of their races.
Miami will now wait until Saturday's selection show before finding out its fate for the NCAA Championships. The selection show begins at 5 p.m.
