JERSEY CITY, N.J.— The Miami University golf team finished sixth of 13 programs after the three-round Georgetown Intercollegiate Invitational with a total score of 885 (292-293-300).
Cameron Pero finished in third place overall as an individual competitor, shooting four under par for both of the final two rounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cameron Pero's (76-68-68--212) second-round score included seven birdies and his third-round score included five birdies and one eagle. His scores placed him in the top three of all competitors; he is the first RedHawk to do this this season.
- Jack Ebner (70-74-79--223) scored seven above par during the final round and tied for 23rd overall.
- Brett Podobinski (72-76-76--224) made 15 pars in the final round, finishing with a score of plus four in the third round and plus eight overall.
- Danny Fisher (74-75-77--226) recorded two birdies and one eagle during the third round.
- The RedHawks' team score for the final round was 300 strokes, 12 strokes above par.

The RedHawks head to North Carolina State University on Oct. 15-16 to compete in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate tournament in Raleigh, North Carolina.
