RedHawks See Success in Classroom for Fall Semester

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University student-athletes continued to achieve stellar academic performances in the fall semester.
With the fall semester grades reported, the RedHawks' entire group of student-athletes combined to post a 3.20 grade-point average, marking their 34th-straight semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Collectively, 67.9% percent of Miami's student-athletes achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher. Overall, 51 student-athletes registered a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Sixteen of the RedHawks' 18 teams recorded at least a 3.0 GPA in the fall semester, with the synchronized skating team's 3.61 GPA leading the way overall. On the men's side, the swimming and diving team led the way with a 3.33 team GPA for the fall.
