NCHC STATEMENT ON START OF 2020-21 SEASON
After thorough discussion and thoughtful planning over the past few months, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has announced a delay to the start of the 2020-21 hockey season. The conference anticipates that competition for NCHC programs will commence on or after November 20. Conference leadership has been working closely with all Division I college hockey conferences to plan for a safe and responsible return to competition.Â

MU MEN'S BASKETBALL TRAILBLAZER, DON BARNETTE, PASSES AWAY
Don Barnette, who broke the color barrier at Miami University when he came to campus in 1952 and became the first black men's basketball player at Miami, passed away in California on September 4, 2020, at the age of 86.

SIXTEEN FORMER REDHAWKS OPEN SEASON IN NFL
As the National Football League kicked off this past weekend, 16 different RedHawks are scattered throughout the NFL. Five players, two head coaches, seven assistant coaches and two strength coaches all began their careers in Oxford, Ohio.
