Sorenson Named CFPA Hon. Mention National Performer of the Week

Jack Sorenson, a member of the Miami University football team, was named Honorable Mention National Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.

Sorenson is coming off a performance in which he had eight receptions for 177 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-7 win over Akron. Sorenson is the first RedHawk to score four touchdowns in a game since Sam Martin accomplished the feat versus UMass back in 2014.

The senior is second in the MAC with 118.0 receiving yards per game in 2020. Over his last five games, the 2019 MAC Championship Offensive Player of the Game, has 36 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns.

Sorenson and the RedHawks return to action this Saturday at home versus Kent State.
