
Rosas Announces 2020-21 Recruiting Class

Head coach Ricardo Rosas added three student athletes to his roster on Wednesday via his 2020-21 recruiting class. Joining Rosas for next year will be Nishitha Saravanan, Emilia Valentinsson and Sofia Zaprianov.

"I am very excited to welcome Sofia, Emilia, and Nishitha to our team," said Rosas. "Their work ethic, passion for the game and competitive drive will impact our program for the next four years. They value the perfect combination that Miami University and Miami Athletics offers to ensure a bright future in all aspects of life. I am looking forward to seeing them compete for Miami Tennis, win championships and embark on the journey of Graduating Champions."

Emilia Valentinsson, Malmö, Sweden (Malmö Idrotts Gymnasium)

High School: Ranked the No. 74 recruit for the class of 2020 by TennisRecruiting.net … ranked as high as No. 1 in G16 and G18 doubles and top 10 in G18 singles in the UTSA Northern California Section … finished fourth at the USTA Northern California Sectional G18 … ranked No. 1,088 in ITF junior rankings.
