Black History Month – Ashleigh Faucette

Throughout the entire month of February MiamiRedHawks.com will be celebrating Black History month by honoring former student-athletes. Today's spotlight is on former synchronized skater Ashleigh Faucette.

Faucette made an instant impact for the RedHawks' junior and collegiate teams, helping the collegiate squad win its seventh-straight national title in 2011. While helping the team to those accolades, she was also named the Miami collegiate team's Rookie of the Year that season.

Faucette's final three seasons were spent competing for the RedHawks' senior team and she helped the Red & White qualify for the International Skating Union World Championships in 2013. She graduated from Miami in 2014.
