Ten RedHawk women were honored, which marks the most in the conference.
CLEVELAND - The Mid-American Conference released its 2019 Cross Country Academic All-MAC teams Thursday with a healthy dose of RedHawks included on both the men's and women's lists.
The Miami women led the conference with a total of 10 awardees while the men's side placed seven on the team, good for the second-most of all schools.
Senior Maegan Murphy was one of just 12 women's athletes in the conference to hold a perfect 4.0 GPA. Charlie Harders compiled a team-high 3.90 GPA on the men's side.
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC squad, an athlete must hold at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA as of the most recent semester and have competed in at least half of their team's meets. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for the award.
